Dr. Schutz Supermat PU Polymer Vinyl Polish 0.75L

Dr. Schutz Supermat is a polymer protective coating for suitable elastic flooring. The product forms a matte maintenance layer and is intended for floors on which the floor manufacturer permits this treatment.

Suitable for

For suitable PVC, CV and linoleum floors according to the corresponding maintenance instructions. First assess use on rubber, stone or polyolefin. A protective coating is not permitted on every factory finish.

Applying the protective coating

1. Check the product name and instructions on the supplied bottle. Clean the floor according to the appropriate flooring system and allow to dry.
2. Shake Supermat well. For a protective coating, spread the product undiluted and thinly with a suitable polish applicator in the lengthwise direction.
3. Apply the next layer crosswise as soon as the first has bonded well. Allow the final protective coating to dry for at least 12 hours, preferably overnight.

Avoid bright sunlight and drafts during application and turn off the underfloor heating beforehand. Follow the safety instructions on your packaging.

Maintenance cleaning

This is a different application from applying a protective coating. For light soiling, the Supermat product sheet states 50–100 ml per 10 litres of water. For regular cleaning, use only the product and dosage that suit your floor maintenance instructions.

Good to know: Supermat and other Dr. Schutz maintenance layers are not interchangeable without confirmation. If in doubt about the supplied version or your floor, ask for advice first.
