Lecol OH36 StepStop Liquid Wash Anti-Slip 1L

Lecol OH36 StepStop is a solvent-based liquid wax with anti-slip properties for suitable waxed floors. The wax helps care for the existing wax layer and can be buffed after drying.

Suitable for

Solvent-resistant floors that are maintained with wax according to the floor manufacturer's instructions, including suitable impregnated wooden floors. Do not use as a general maintenance wax on all lacquered or oiled floors.

Use and maintenance

1. Check the finish and test on an inconspicuous area. Clean the floor and allow it to dry completely.
2. Apply the wax thinly and evenly using a clean, lint-free cloth or suitable wax applicator.
3. Allow for approximately 50 m² per litre. Actual coverage depends on the floor and layer thickness.
4. Allow to dry and then buff to an even shine. The Lecol brochure states approximately 30–60 minutes; only buff when the wax is completely dry.

Maintain as needed: if buffing no longer restores the shine, a new suitable layer of wax may be required. Remove built-up layers only with a cleaner suitable for the wax and flooring system.

Safe working: Flammable solvent vapours are released during application and drying. Ventilate thoroughly and keep away from fire, smoking, sparks and other sources of ignition. Refer to the safety data sheet for used cloths and pads.
