Dr. Schutz: how to maintain your floor

The same dosage does not mean the same product. First, choose the cleaner that is suitable for your floor and finish.

PU Cleaner for suitable PU/PUR surfaces, Laminate Cleaner for laminate, and Parquet and Cork Cleaner for suitable varnished wood or cork. H2Oil is a separate maintenance treatment for oiled floors.

Care task 1

Choosing the right cleaner

PVC/LVT with suitable PU/PUR coating: PU Cleaner.

Laminate: Laminate Cleaner.

Water-resistant lacquered wood or cork: Parquet and Cork Cleaner.

Care task 2

Regular cleaning step by step

  1. Remove sand and loose dirt.
  2. For regular manual cleaning, mix 50 ml of the chosen cleaner with 10 litres of water.
  3. Mop with a slightly damp, well-wrung mop. Allow to dry and do not leave puddles.

This is the standard mop dilution. Different instructions apply for final cleaning, machine cleaning or paint removal.

Care task 3

Refresh oiled wood with H2Oil

Use H2Oil undiluted on a suitable oiled surface.

  1. Clean with the appropriate Dr. Schutz product from the data sheet and allow to dry completely.
  2. Shake H2Oil. Apply a thin, even layer with a dry applicator mop, working with the grain.
  3. Keep the floor and the product at a minimum of 15°C. Switch off underfloor heating beforehand; avoid direct sunlight and drafts.

Allow approximately 12 hours before careful use. The white version is only for previously white oiled surfaces. Bare wood requires restoration.
